Ilgın (b. 1991, Turkey) is a multi-media artist working at the intersection of sound design and generative art. He holds a BA in Music Composition from Istanbul Bilgi University and an MA in Sonic Arts from Istanbul Technical University (MIAM). Drawing on history and mythology, Ilgın’s work blends immersive audio, interactive visuals, and creative coding to create abstract, dreamlike narratives. His composition and sound design credits include immersive installations such as Everything by Nohlab, Matter by Vitamin Arte, and La Ruta. He is also part of the Turkey–Spain-based artist duo dist.cs , focused on web-based generative artworks exhibited internationally, including at Art Basel Miami. Alongside his art practice, Ilgın lectures on creative coding and AI, and teaches music & sound design at the master’s level at LABA Valencia.
